Playlist: RIP Steve Albini

Description

Steve Albini was a great musician, recorder of music, poker player, writer, and cook. The world is a lesser place without him in it. Apparently only last week he was helping a band load in from their van, that he was going to record... For his flat rate, without asking for points. I mean who does that? To not have residuals for "In Utero" or "Rid of Me" was unheard of in the 90s for a producer, let alone now. So let's celebrate the crunchy guitars, dry drums, lack of overdubs of some of my favorite Steve recordings.
