Description
We have a delightful arrangement of classical music charting the course of a day in the countryside. We'll start by gazing at the heavens before daybreak and watching the sunrise with Ola Geilo's "The Spheres" and "Sunrise" from his "Sunrise Mass". Then it's off to Europe for a trip down two rivers: First Europe's Second longest rive, The Danube (with The Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss) flowing from Germany all the way to the black sea. Then we're off to the Czech Republic where we'll chart the course of the Vltava river (in German, it's called The Moldau River) at it starts as a trickle in the mountains of the Bohemian Forest through the Czech countryside to the city of Prague with Bedřich Smetana's "The Moldau (Vltava)". From Prague, we will depart to the countryside surrounding Vienna to take in the views that inspired Beethoven to write his Symphony No. 6 (the Pastoral Symphony). We end our magical day in the countryside with the Overture to "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Felix Mendelssohn.
