Dusty in Memphis is my favorite album of all time, period. Desert Island Disc number 1 with a bullet. I use different editions (vinyl pressings, CD masters and DSD 512) for auditioning audio equipment. I pretty much know every snare and bass flub. But the album never falls into a perfunctory mode for me... and I will never allow it to fall into that category, it's just too good. The rest of her catalog (as you can tell) is AWESOME. Happy / Sad? Yep, she got it.
